Gwen Roe: Special Educational Needs Governor

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do at Fritchley CofE (Aided) Primary and Nursery School and we continue to strive to build on and develop the practice we have in place.  At Fritchley CofE (Aided) Primary and Nursery School we aim to meet the needs of every child as an individual, academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. We do this in a variety of ways as class teachers; as partners with outside agencies; and with yourself as parents. We value the abilities and achievements of all our pupils and are committed to providing the best possible learning environment for them to succeed in.  In line with the current SEND Code of Practice we adopt a graduated approach, which recognises that children learn in different ways and have different needs.

We fully support our pupils with identified Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) in line with the SEN Code of Practice and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014.

Further details about the support we provide can be found in our SEND Information report.
